Orla O’Sullivan

Physiotherapist

Orla is a physiotherapist at YS Physio, having begun her journey with the clinic as an intern in 2023 and 2024 before officially joining the team in 2025. She graduated from the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam, a globally respected program known for its evidence-based curriculum and international clinical exposure.

Orla has a strong passion for sports rehabilitation, and brings valuable experience from various high-performance environments. She currently works with the NRLW Cronulla Sutherland Sharks and the Sydney Swans Academy, supporting athletes across elite rugby league and developmental AFL environments. Orla has also provided physiotherapy coverage at the NSW State Netball Championships and the Australian Underwater Hockey Nationals—demonstrating her adaptability and broad skill set across diverse sporting contexts. These experiences have further refined her ability to assess and treat athletes with varied movement demands, injury profiles, and performance goals.

A keen athlete herself, Orla plays AFL, Gaelic football, and Camogie, giving her a firsthand appreciation of the physical and psychological challenges of injury and recovery. Her personal sporting background brings a genuine empathy and practical insight to her care—qualities that resonate strongly with her clients.

Well-connected within the AFL and broader sporting community, Orla blends clinical precision with a personable, athlete-centred approach. Whether supporting elite professionals or passionate amateurs, she is committed to helping every client return stronger, move better, and feel empowered throughout their rehabilitation journey
